  • Made in South Pittsburg, Tenn., USA

In 1896 in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, Joseph Lodge founded his first cast iron foundry. Now known as Lodge Cast Iron, the family-owned, American company makes cookware that lasts a lifetime. Lodge is the only remaining U.S. manufacturer that produces an entire line of cast iron cookware, and they were the first to introduce seasoned cast iron to the market, revolutionizing the cast iron cookware space with ready-to-use pieces.

All their cast iron cookware is suitable for use on induction, ceramic, electric, and gas stoves, as well as in the oven, on grills, or campfires. Each piece provides excellent heat distribution and an easy-release finish that only improves with age. Pre-seasoned with vegetable oil at the foundry for a ready-to-use finish, Lodge cast iron cookware can be used to sear, fry, sauté, grill, roast, bake, braise, or boil, indoors or out.

As Lodge continues to develop the core line of seasoned cast iron, the introduction of complementary lines of cookware has seen great success over the past two decades. Lodge’s diverse and colorful line of Porcelain Enameled Cast Iron has earned rave reviews from media and consumers since its inception in 2005, offering the performance of European brands at a much more affordable value.

Hailed as an "essential kitchen tool" (Martha Stewart 2008), the Lodge cast iron skillet is crafted to cook memorable meals for generations. Foundry seasoned, ready to use. Use on all cooking surfaces, grills, campfires and oven safe, so you can sauté, sear, fry, bake and stir fry to heart’s content.
